03/05/15 EE&U Committee & Newsmaker Connection - PUC President
Dear VICA Energy, Environment & Utilities Committee member:
The next EE&U Committee meeting will be a special VICA Newsmaker Connection held Thursday, March 5 from 12 noon - 1:30 p.m. at the VICA office (5121 Van Nuys Blvd, 2nd Floor, Sherman Oaks).
Join us for a lunch and discussion with the California Public Utilities Commission President, Michael Picker. Picker was named President of the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) in December 2014, by Gov. Brown, who first appointed President Picker as a Commissioner in January 2014. Prior to his appointment, President Picker was Senior Advisor for Renewable Energy in the Office of the Governor from 2009 to 2014.
Lunch will be served at 11:45 a.m., courtesy of Metropolitan Water District.
